Hi, I'm Summer Kiris. I started to learn how to code in 2020 and have worked on a variety of projects to enhance my technical skills.
I am currently seeking new opportunities in front-end development as a React developer. I am also open to other Javscript frameworks and libraries.
Some of my skills and frameworks include HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, APIs, and Github.
I'm willing to to work remotely and work well with a team.
I am currently employed as a flight attendant and work on projects when I'm not flying. Some of my favorite countries I've visited include Greece, Thailand, and France. I also enjoy reading, cycling, and hot yoga.
I immersed myself in React and API development by building a weather application.
I used my knowledge of this highly-demanded framework to design and code a functional app, incorporating coding best practices.
I also used some of the most popular tools and technologies.
I further expanded my React skills by building a link shortening app. I also developed it with a new CSS framework, TailwindCSS.
The Shortly app incorporates responsive design and features fetch and try/catch error handling for the API.
My newest web application was built with React JS and two external APIs. It is styled with basic CSS principles and is responsive.
The Dictionary Dev API is used to display information about a search word, and the Pexels API displays relevant photos.
